Being an altar server is a divine privilege to boys and girls. A server’s role is to assist the priest or deacon at masses, wedding, and special liturgies during Holy Week. This ministry teaches reverence and closeness to God and fosters a child’s faith.Following the Archdiocese recommendations, servers must be baptized catholic, have received Holy Communion, and entering 5th grade or higher by September 2008.
